Coyote Willow (Salix exigua)

Coyote Willow (Salix exigua)

Here is a great plant for that moist area in your yard or around the farm that you just can’t get anything else to grow. Native thicket grows feet a year in the right environment. If you are looking to screen out something or form a quick windbreak, this is a great pioneer species that can be culled out later when stronger, slower growing plants fill in. Can be invasive.

#5 pots

Grows 6’-8’ and runs (width variable) Catkins in Spring with insignificant flowers
